Negreanu may 'stick to Vegas' in the future

2008-08-15 17:02:00

Daniel Negreanu has suggested that he may limit his card playing to Las Vegas in the future.

Kid Poker, who spends much of his year traveling around the world competing in poker tournaments, wrote in his Full Contact Poker blog that he enjoys being at home a lot and always "dreads" the start of the fall, which is traditionally his busiest period.

"I just don't see myself doing all of this traveling for too much longer," he commented. "I love my life in Vegas and fill my days with my kind of fun."

Golf was among the pastimes mentioned by Negreanu, a subject which will likely be familiar to readers of his blog as he regular discusses his exploits on the course.

He said that he will probably be so busy over the next couple of months that he might not be able to play the game.

Negreanu has made more than $5 million on the World Poker Tour during his career and will be looking to add to that total at the Legends of Poker event later this month.
