Stardom predicted for Marquis

Even if he does not manage to turn in a good performance at the final table of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) main event in November, big things lie ahead for young Texan poker player Craig Marquis.
This is the prediction of WSOP bracelet winner Lee Watkinson, who suggested in a Card Player article that the man who is friends with the great Tom 'Durr' Dwan will have a very bright future.
"Although he is relatively short-stacked I am sure that with a little luck he will be a huge factor at the final table and, regardless of his finish, will be a 'big name' in poker," Watkinson stated.
Marquis and Watkinson play at the same poker website, along with Scott Montgomery and Kelly Kim - two other members of the November Nine.
Montgomery, who has reached a World Poker Tour final table as well this year, has the biggest chip stack of the three, lying in third place in the overall rankings. Marquis is eighth, while Kim is the low-stack in ninth.
