Legends of Poker event has Negreanu excited

Daniel Negreanu has revealed that he is eager to get back to playing major poker competitions, with his first opportunity coming up next week.
The man they call Kid Poker has not taken part in any big events since the World Series of Poker ended in the summer and he told Full Contact Poker readers he is excited about his return to the felt, which will come at the World Poker Tour (WPT) Legends of Poker tournament later this month.
"I'm looking forward to it," said the Canadian. "I can't wait to play some poker again! It feels like it's been ages!"
The tournament is being held at the Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens, California and Negreanu will be hoping to pick up the third WPT title of his career.
Victory would see the 34-year-old extend his lead at the top of WPT's earnings list even further.
