Makhija leads WPT final table

Amit Makhija will carry a decent chip lead into tomorrow's final table of the World Poker Tour (WPT) Legends of Poker event.
The relatively unheralded player holds 3,225,000 chips, giving him a fair advantage over second-placed John Phan with 2,415,000.
Zachary Clark is in third with a stack of 2,025,000, putting him ahead of Kyle Wilson (1,425,000) and Paul Smith (1,130,000).
Trong Nguyen goes into the last day of the competition at the Bicycle Casino in California as the low-stack with 980,000 chips.
Many will make Phan the favourite to win the tournament, given his incredible run of form this summer.
He has already reached one WPT final in the last month, following on from his two victories at the World Series of Poker (WSOP).
A win would give him a big advantage over the rest of the field in Card Player's player of the year competition, in which he currently lies second behind eight-time WSOP bracelet holder Erik Seidel.
