Negreanu 'content' with EPT performance

Daniel Negreanu has suggested that he was much happier with how he played at the European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona Open than the World Poker Tour (WPT) Legends of Poker competition at the Bicycle Casino in California a few weeks back.
The Canadian wrote in his Full Contact Poker blog that even though he was knocked out on the first day of the former and made it into the money in the latter, the EPT was where he felt more on his game.
"I was way more excited about this event than I was with the Bike event despite going deep there," he remarked. "I wasn't really at the Bike, but I was definitely all there in Barcelona."
Negreanu has traditionally had much more success on the WPT than he has on the EPT, having won two titles and a player of the year award from the organisation during his career.
