Binger still in the hunt for WPT title

Michael Binger is still in with a chance of securing the first major title of his career at the World Poker Tour (WPT) Borgata Poker Open this week.
The 31-year-old is considered by many to be one of the best players on the planet yet to take down a World Series of Poker (WSOP), WPT or European Poker Tour event, but he has the opportunity to change that in Atlantic City, where he currently lies in 12th place after day three.
There are just 27 competitors left in the tournament and Binger - who is fifth in Card Player's player of the year competition - is not the only big name still in the hunt for the $1,424,500 first-place prize.
Double WSOP bracelet holder Mark Seif lies in eighth position, while Steve Dannenmann and Ted Forrest - who has won a WPT title before - sit in 13th and 14th place respectively overnight.
Daniel Heimiller is the current chip leader, followed by Vivek Rajkumar and Thayer Rasmussen.
