Shorr hangs out with Frey in Texas

Shannon Shorr has revealed that he spent some time partying with Hunter 'HEMIpowerSWT' Frey while in Texas this week.

The Bellagio Cup II champion wrote in his blog that he went to a bar called Canvas with the internet star, where Frey ordered bottle service.

"This place was great. We had a blast for several hours before closing time," the Alabaman remarked.

Frey is currently fourth in Card Player's online player of the year competition with 5,788 points.

He was up to second earlier this month behind Brian 'SNo0oWMAN' Hawkins (5,906), but has since been overtaken by Philip 'USCphildo' Collins (5,826) and new leader Alex 'AJKHoosier1' Kamberis.

Shorr has also experienced a drop down the player of the year rankings in recent weeks.

He was in striking distance of topping the live tournament list at one point, but is now down to tenth after more than a month away from the competition circuit.
