Mendieta19 moves up OPOY rankings

Anonymous internet poker start mendieta19 has moved up Card Player's online player of the year rankings after picking up 200 points on Wednesday.
The card sharp currently lies in ninth place in the race with 5,034 points, after generating more than 1,300 since the start of September.
Such steady scoring has made him only the 18th man in history to move past the 5,000 points mark, as the player scores for 2008 look to eclipse those from last year.
Mendieta19 lies behind Shaun 'shaundeeb' Deeb, who is fifth in Bluff Magazine's equivalent position and ahead of Luke 'Bdbeatslayer' Vrabel.
Alex 'AJKHoosier1' Kamberis remains the leader on 7,812, just under 1,900 points in front of second-placed Brian 'SNo0oWMAN' Hawkins.
Philip 'USCphildo' Collins is third, followed by Hunter 'HEMIpowerSWT' Frey, Nicholas 'CapTinBisKuit' Blumenthal, Mark 'DIPTHRONG' Herm and Joe 'ender555' Ebanks.
Reigning champion Isaac 'westmenloAA' Baron is currently 14th as he attempts to defend his crown.
