Parkes admits recent form has been slow

Evan Parkes, best known to internet poker followers as PURPLEPILS99, has acknowledged that he has not achieved much lately on the online cards circuit.
In his latest Bluff Magazine blog, the internet superstar said he "was doing pretty well" back in September, but has not managed to do much since.
Despite this, he is still ranked in the top ten of Bluff's player of the year (POY) rankings, sitting in ninth position.
He is also 27th in the equivalent competition run by Card Player magazine, which has credited him with 558 points from four tournaments since the start of September.
Parkes' last good results were on Wednesday night, he suggested, when he went deep in two tournaments but was knocked out after losing coin flip situations in each.
It has not yet been revealed whether the finish contributed to his POY score, as Card Player still lists his last big result as being from Sunday.
