Rosen takes lead on day 1b of North American Poker Championship

Jamie Rosen will start day two of the World Poker Tour North American Poker Championship with almost 200,000 chips in his stack.
The relatively unheralded player had a storming day 1b, finishing up with 196,300 - over 50,000 more than his nearest rival Joe Hoellein.
Lee Markholt was the highest-placed of the big name card sharps, ending the day in third on 128,200.
Xuan-Tien Nguyen, Pat Pezzin and Joshua Norris also have more than 100,000 chips in their stacks.
Of the famous faces to make it through to the next round, Barry Greenstein and Vanessa Rousso both finished day 1b above average, while Dan Heimiller, Yevgeniy Timoschenko and Sorel Mizzi were towards the bottom of the leaderboard.
Gus Hansen, Hevad Khan, Jimmy Fricke and Scott Montgomery were all eliminated.
Rosen is looking to reach his first final table in a major tournament, after missing out by just one place in event 44 at the 2008 World Series of Poker.
