Slash's poker fandom revealed

Former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash has been revealed to be a big fan of poker.
In his Card Player blog, 11-time World Series of Poker bracelet holder Phil Hellmuth explained how he went to a party being held by the rock star for his wife Pearla at a bar in Los Angeles.
The Poker Brat was with Anthrax guitarist and renowned celebrity poker player Scott Ian, who managed to obtain the credentials to get them into the bash.
"It turns out that Slash loves poker and is a big fan of mine," he remarked.
"This is especially cool because my sons and I are big fans of Slash's."
A group of them played a $100 buy-in no-limit Texas hold'em freezeout together, with Slash, Ian and Hellmuth the last three in the game.
Hellmuth complimented Slash on his poker skills, claiming "he had great patience and instincts".
Slash is not the first celebrity to be unveiled as a card player in recent months, with swimmer Michael Phelps declaring his passion for the game at the end of the summer.
