Witmer heads North American Poker Championship final table

Glen Witmer has the chip lead heading into the final table of the World Poker Tour (WPT) North American Poker Championship.
The relatively unheralded player has 3,710,000 chips, according to the official count, leaving him just over 900,000 ahead of second-placed Gavin Smith on 2,815,000.
Ryan Fisler is third with 2,285,000, followed by Marc Karam (1,850,000), Kathy Liebert (1,620,000) and James Trenholm (1,365,000).
Matt Matros was the final table bubble boy, going home in seventh place with $95,097 for his troubles.
In other notable finishes, Erik Seidel was tenth, Brian 'SNo0oWMAN' Hawkins was 13th and Vivek Rajkumar was 16th. The latter had entered the penultimate day in the lead as he hunted his second WPT crown in four weeks.
Of the remaining competitors, Smith is chasing his second WPT title, while Liebert is looking to add another bracelet to her collection that already includes one from the World Series of Poker.
