Negreanu accepts underdog status

Daniel Negreanu has admitted that in a cash game against some of the world's best poker players he would an underdog.
Writing in his Full Contact Poker blog, the Canadian discussed how he competed against Gus Hansen, Phil Ivey, Tom 'Durrr' Dwan and Patrik Antonius earlier this week and suggested that he is nowhere near as confident taking on these men in a cash game as he would be in a tournament.
"I thoroughly enjoy the challenge, but the truth is that each of them has more experience than I do and play a lot more regularly, which puts me at a disadvantage," he remarked.
In the player analysis section of Barry Greenstein's website, Negreanu is rated as a consistent winner in $1,000 to $2,000 cash games, although it states that he does not play too often.
He is given marks of seven out of ten for his side game abilities and is rated as being better against weaker competitors than he is against stronger ones.
