Gross goes second in OPOY rankings

Steve 'gboro780' Gross has powered into second place in Card Player's online player of the year (OPOY) list following a hat-trick of big finishes on Sunday November 9th.
The internet card sharp took down two separate competitions and finished fourth in another to earn 1,440 points for the day.
This, in addition to the 172 points won earlier in November, helped lift his score to 6,942 - the fourth highest in the history of the rankings.
Mark 'dipthrong' Herm lies 480 points behind Gross in third position, while Alex 'AJKHoosier1' Kamberis - who has won 280 points so far this month - continues to lead the race on 8,876.
Shaun 'shaundeeb' Deeb (6,420) and former frontrunner Brian 'SNo0oWMAN' Hawkins (6,384) make up the rest of the top five.
Kamberis and Deeb are the only two to rank inside Bluff Magazine's equivalent OPOY top five, in third and fifth position respectively.
