Little wins second WPT title

Jonathan Little picked up the second World Poker Tour (WPT) title of his career on Tuesday night at the Foxwoods casino in Connecticut.
The reigning WPT player of the year added the World Poker Finals trophy to his 2007 Mirage Poker Showdown accolade when he defeated Jonathan Jaffe in a heads-up match.
At times Jaffe led the Floridian, but Little managed to take the lead with ten hands left to play and did not look back.
In the final hand of the day Jaffe pushed all-in with ace-ten pre-flop, but was called by Little with ace-queen.
The dominating cards held up on the board and Little was crowned champion.
For the victory, the 23-year-old earned $1,120,310, taking his overall WPT earnings to $3,368,886.
Only eight competitors have ever won more money from WPT events. This exclusive list features some of poker's most highly regarded players, including Daniel Negreanu, Carlos Mortensen, Gus Hansen and David Chiu.
