Shcherbatskiy takes the lead at EPT Poland

Sergey Shcherbatskiy is on top at the European Poker Tour (EPT) Polish Open after the end of action on day two, according to unofficial chip counts.
Card Player magazine reports that the Russian has approximately 265,900 in his stack, giving him an advantage of about 54,000 over Dario Minieri in second.
Minieri has been in the form of his life during 2008, finishing third at EPT San Remo back in May and winning his first major title in event 31 at the World Series of Poker over the summer.
He will have to overcome a number of other top players, however, if he is to continue his success with another victory.
Roland De Wolfe, an EPT and World Poker Tour (WPT) titlist, lies in third position on an estimated 169,900 chips, while Aussie Millions final tablist Nico Behling and 2007 WPT Spanish Championship runner-up Ludovic Lacay are also in the top ten.
