Klodnicki: First live tournament win "was a cool experience"

Chris Klodnicki has described how he felt last week when he won his first ever live tournament at the Borgata casino in Atlantic City.
The New Jersey resident wrote in his Bluff magazine blog that he found it quite easy to build a good chip stack early on in the $2,000 deep-stack tournament and, after forcing himself to play conservatively at the final table, he managed to hit several big hands and get the victory.
Despite agreeing to chop the prize fund so he only received approximately $100,000 instead of the $226,780 he could have won, Klodnicki appeared delighted with the victory and claimed "it was a very cool experience".
Klodnicki has made a handful of final table appearances in the past, most notably at the 2008 World Series of Poker where he finished runner-up to Barry Greenstein in a seven-card razz event.
He expects that he will make his next attempt to win a live poker title in January.
