Hawkins back in OPOY top three

Brian 'SNo0oWMAN' Hawkins has risen back to third place in Card Player's online player of the year (OPOY) rankings after several weeks outside the top three.
Hawkins led the competition for large parts of 2008, but lost ground on his rivals when he picked up a relatively small 58 points during September and October.
However, a 200-point score on December 1st, followed by another 320 on December 2nd, has put him back in contention on 7,196 points.
This leaves him 750 points behind second-placed Steve 'gboro780' Gross and a further 1,306 behind frontrunner Alex 'AJKHoosier1' Kamberis.
Daniel 'djk13' Kelly dropped down to fourth position on 7,026.
The results make Hawkins the sixth man in history to score more than 7,000 in one season.
Isaac 'westmenloAA' Baron and Matt 'ch0ppy' Kay both achieved the feat in 2007.
Baron currently lies 39th this year on 4,538 points, while Kay is 47th with 4,278.
