Hellmuth wins money on PAD

2008-12-04 11:59:20

Phil Hellmuth has revealed that he emerged from four weeks' worth of Poker After Dark (PAD) episode filmings in profit during November.

The Poker Brat stated in his Card Player blog that he is not allowed to go into detail about the games, but he can say that he came out ahead.

It remains to be seen whether the money is enough to cover the 11-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet holder's $70,000 losses from elsewhere over the period.

Prior to Hellmuth writing the post, he had lost $10,000 playing a $50-$100 game online.

And immediately after one of the PAD episodes, fellow WSOP bracelet winner Eli Elezra took $60,000 off him in a game of Chinese Poker that apparently lasted all night.

According to the Hendon Mob, Hellmuth has won more than $1 million during 2008 playing live poker tournaments and TV shows such as PAD and the PartyPoker Premier League.

His earnings from the start of October onwards have yet to be added to this total.
