Big names dominate Five Diamond preliminaries

Several of the world's most famous poker players are enjoying a good run at the Bellagio this month during the preliminary tournaments of the Five Diamond World Poker Classic.
Following Sorel Mizzi's maiden live tournament victory on December 1st, Blair Hinkle, Allen Cunningham, Eric Baldwin and Farzad Rouhani have all made it to final tables, while Amit Makhija has reached two.
Vivek Rajkumar also made it to his second final table last week, while James Mackey, Sergey Rybachenko and Dutch Boyd all added titles to their trophy collections.
The results have not led to any notable changes taking place at the top of Card Player's player of the year list, which continues to be led by John 'Razor' Phan on 6,704 points.
Phan raced into the lead at the end of the summer with triumphs at the World Series of Poker and on the World Poker Tour, along with several other notable final table finishes.
