Dwan wins almost $1 million in one online session

Tom 'Durrr' Dwan continued his winning year at the online cash tables last week, earning close to $1 million during a 24-hour period.
According to the Boston Poker Examiner, Dwan turned in a "dominating" performance playing $500-$1,000 stakes against Phil Ivey, Gus Hansen, trex313 and several others, eventually leaving the tables with approximately $1.23 million between two stacks.
This left him up $955,000 on his starting position and improves on the $6 million that Jesse May told Matchroom Poker readers Durrr had already won playing nosebleed games so far this year.
Dwan has had success away from the cash tables as well during 2008.
He has earned approximately $500,000 for top ten finishes in several high-profile live tournaments and last month rubbished suggestions by May that he was too aggressive to do well in the PartyPoker Premier League by finishing in fourth place overall.
Durrr will be in Las Vegas later this month to take part in season five of GSN's High Stakes Poker.
