Justin Young is the chip leader after day two of the World Poker Tour (WPT) Doyle Brunson Classic.
The two-time WPT cash finisher has a stack containing 552,900 chips, giving him an advantage of 12,000 over second-placed Chuck Kelley, according to the WPT website.
Evan McNiff is third with 485,300 chips, followed by Tuan Le (480,000), Kido Pham (445,000), Clonie Gowen (430,000) and Phil Hellmuth (412,800).
Dozens of top card sharps went to the rail over the course of the day, including Billy Baxter, Toddy Brunson, Chau Giang, Bertrand Grospellier and Chris Ferguson.
However, Doyle Brunson managed to survive through to day three, along with Barry Greenstein, Antonio Esfandiari, Allen Cunningham and Sorel Mizzi.
Gowen is bidding to become the second woman to take down a WPT event and the first one to succeed in a non-invitational competition.
She finished 36th in the Doyle Brunson Classic in season five.
