Brunson praises Bloch's consistency

Doyle Brunson has praised Andy Bloch for his consistently good runs in major poker tournaments.
The hall-of-famer stated that Bloch's record is "impressive" due to him not having the same kind of poker background as many of his contemporaries and claimed that he "seems to go deep in every tournament".
During 2008, Bloch notched up second-place finishes at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) and the NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship and a third at the Aussie Millions.
He also cashed in a further four WSOP events and two WSOP Europe tournaments, although he was unable to manage a victory.
Brunson suggested that Bloch's achievements may be being overlooked by the poker fraternity.
"I hope he wins a few [competitions] where he will be recognized a little more for his excellent play," he remarked.
Prior to taking up poker, Bloch was a member of the legendary MIT blackjack team which was the subject of recent Hollywood movie 21.
