Rheem congratulated by Brunson

David 'Chino' Rheem has been congratulated by Doyle Brunson for winning the World Poker Tour (WPT) Doyle Brunson Classic over the weekend.
Rheem is among the most popular card sharps on the circuit and Brunson referred to his victory in a blog post as well as his final table finish in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) main event.
Brunson did not reveal whether he was supporting Rheem or long-time associate Hoyt Corkins at the end of the event, but it appears likely that a few top players were rooting for Chino.
Prior to the conclusion of the 2008 WSOP main event, several of the sport's stars claimed to have only heard of Rheem out of the November Nine and many backed him to win.
In his blog, Shannon Shorr suggested that he was suppporting Justin Young, who he claimed is "one of my longest and best friends in the industry".
