Cloutier expects to compete in 20 tournaments in 2009

Poker hall-of-famer TJ Cloutier has revealed that he expects to take part in approximately 20 live poker competitions over the next 12 months.
The 69-year-old, who holds six World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets, wrote in his PokerPages blog that he is hoping to compete in all of the major World Poker Tour events at the Bellagio during 2009, as well as any other big tournaments he can easily travel to.
In addition to this, he is looking to participate in about ten events at the WSOP and four charity competitions.
Cloutier claimed that the schedule is "a lot smaller" than the one he usually follows, but stated that it will give him more time for other activities, such as running classes at the World Poker Tour's (WPT's) bootcamps.
The WPT provided Cloutier with his last high profile cash finish, with him coming 34th in the 2008 Five-Star World Poker Classic in April to earn $65,955.
