Shorr bounces back with a win

Shannon Shorr has recovered from his early exit in the European Poker Tour (EPT) Caribbean Adventure with a big win online.
The Alabaman took down a $200 buy-in tournament on Sunday to earn $48,825 and get off to a good start in the 2009 online player of the year (OPOY) competitions.
He currently lies joint 25th with Card Player magazine on 720 points - half the amount of the leaders stoledog and livelikunger.
"It's really nice to post a nice win after my miserable showing in Nassau," said Shorr in his internet journal.
He stated that he got dealt some good hands while heads-up against Scott 'stpauli111' Hall and was grateful for his 2:1 chip lead going into the one-on-one match-up as he considered his opponent to be "outstanding".
Hall ranks ahead of Shorr in Card Player's OPOY race with 852 points having picked up a victory of his own earlier in the season.
