Two wins in two days for Shorr

Shannon Shorr picked up his second internet poker victory in two days on Monday night, winning a $1,000 buy-in event to earn $101,250.
Writing in his blog, the Alabaman claimed the prize was approximately twice as much as his previous MTT best and - combined with his win on Sunday - helped to make up for several months of results that he felt to be subpar.
"It's really nice to sort of turn a corner in online MTT," he remarked. "My results weren't nearly where I expected them to be before these two scores."
Shorr stated that the final table, which featured 4XTRADER and Raymond Ross, was "pretty stacked", but he was in good form and managed to hold on for the win.
A player called Schienato was his heads-up victim.
The victory leaves Shorr joint third in Card Player's online player of the year race on 1,200 points, 240 behind leaders stoledog and livelikunger.
