Antonius second in Aussie Millions main event after day 1a

European Poker Tour titlist Patrik Antonius finished day 1a of the 2009 Aussie Millions main event in second place.
The Finnish card sharp will take an estimated 139,750 chips through to day two, 45,625 less than frontrunner Christopher Chronis.
World Poker Tour (WPT) 2008 Borgata Winter Open final table finisher Noah Schwartz is third on 138,275 chips, followed by Derek Cheung (132,800), James Obst (122,075), Elliot Smith (107,650) and Warwick Mirzikinian (103,575).
Inter superstar Sorel Mizzi (95,575), Daniel Kochan (95,300) and Danny Andrews (89,000) round out the top ten.
About 191 competitors entered day 1a, with 74 managing to successfully negotiate the first round of the A$10,500 ($7,074) event.
Among the other top names to take part were two-time World Series of Poker bracelet holder and WPT titlist John Hennigan and the Mouth from Down Under, Tony G.
Day 1b of the Aussie Millions finale is scheduled to get underway today (Monday January 19th).
