Daniel Negreanu has claimed he is happy with the way his attempt to turn $10 into $100,000 by working his way up from online micro-stakes cash games is going.
The biggest money winner in World Poker Tour history revealed in his Full Contact Poker (FCP) blog that he is still playing at blinds of $0.01/$0.02, but now holds $19.94, just $6.04 off the amount he needs to move up to the next level.
"It's going really well so far," he remarked, pointing readers toward FCP's forums where they can follow his progress more regularly.
In his latest messageboard post, Negreanu stated that whenever he gets close to the end of a level he is going to buy into the table with a smaller amount in order to stay on the safe side.
"For example, if I only need to win $0.50, I'm going to buy in for the minimum of $1.00. Safer that way," he commented.
