Binger among the leaders on day 1c of Aussie Millions

Michael Binger was among the top ten best performers on day 1c of the Aussie Millions main event in Melbourne.
The professional, who finished seventh in Card Player's player of the year competition in 2008, will take 86,000 chips through to day two of the event, with only six other players from day 1c accruing bigger stacks.
These were Ben Charlton (161,000), Luis Pampliega (143,600), Jani Mikkola (109,050), John Paul Kelly (104,500), Tom Rafferty (95,000) and Mike Manttan (92,000).
Numerous big names went to the rail over the course of the day, including online superstar Tom 'Durrr' Dwan, three-time World Poker Tour titlist Gus Hansen and 2008 World Series of Poker final table finisher David 'Chino' Rheem.
The tournament is set to conclude on Saturday January 24th with the winner to receive A$2 million (US$1.29 million).
A no-limit hold'em team event, a turbo no-limit hold'em competition, a HORSE tournament and a satellite for next year's Aussie Millions will conclude the series.
