Shorr to attend World Series of Poker

Shannon Shorr has revealed he will be taking part in this year's World Series of Poker (WSOP) from start to finish.
The Alabaman wrote in his blog that expects to participate in at least $100,000 worth of events and will only probably take a break towards the end of June when his sister is getting married.
Shorr has played throughout the last three WSOPs and suggested that he is looking forward to this year's edition.
"It looks pretty exciting," he said of the newly released schedule. "For the fourth straight year, I will be out for the duration. Hopefully I can pick up my first career WSOP bracelet."
Shorr came close to getting his first WSOP title in 2008, but finished runner-up to Matt Keikoan in event seven, earning $349,141.
He cashed in three other competitions that year, making it his best series ever. His only previous finish of note was fifth in the heads-up world championship in 2007.
