Experienced players advised to 'keep learning'

A good poker player should get better with experience, but there is no accounting for "youthful exuberance", one expert advises.
In a recent blog post featured on the Card Player website, 2004 World Poker Tour Player of the Year Daniel Negreanu says that although the game gets tougher with time, this can be used to hone your skills.
He notes that a realistic approach and a wise mind can be great assets when taking to the tables, but adds that this does not mean a player should ever stop learning.
Negreanu cites poker legend Doyle Brunson as one example of some one who understands that if you are not continually sharpening your skills and adapting to changes, someone can always sneak up and outwit you.
"Doyle has almost made it a lifetime mission to never let anyone catch up. When they do, he gets better. Pretty amazing actually," he concludes.
Brunson, who also goes by the name of Tex Dolly, is a 10-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner.
