WPT Bay 101 gets underway today

The World Poker Tour (WPT) Bay 101 Shooting Star tournament is set to get underway today in San Jose, California.
According to the official WPT website, Erik Seidel, Allen Cunningham, Erick Lindgren, David Pham, Phil Hellmuth, Layne Flack and Mike Matusow are all set to take part in the event, which has a $10,000 buy-in.
Reigning WPT player of the year Jonathan Little, 2006 World Series of Poker main event winner Jamie Gold, Annie Duke, Dan Harrington and Hoyt Corkins are among the other notables scheduled to play.
Brandon Cantu took the title in 2008, beating out a star-studded final table that included Steve Sung, Jennifer Harman and John 'Razor' Phan to win the $1 million prize money.
Harman's husband Marco Traniello is also listed as a participant on the WPT site, although his wife - who hit the headlines with her charity poker event last week - is not mentioned.
