Baron on top after Bay 101 day 1b

Isaac 'westmenloAA' Baron finished day 1b of the World Poker Tour (WPT) Bay 101 Shooting Star last night as the chip leader.
According to figures from the official WPT website, the 2007 Card Player online player of the year won 153,700 chips in total, making him the day's best performer ahead of WPT titlist Vivek Rajkumar (137,500).
Kathy Liebert, Daniel Negreanu and Hevad Khan all finished inside the top ten, while Allen Cunningham, Robert Mizrachi and Howard Lederer progressed to day two with above average chip stacks.
TJ Cloutier, Eli Elezra, Men Nguyen, Jennifer Harman and Steve Sung also survived the day, while Michael Mizrachi, JC Tran, Chris Ferguson and Scotty Nguyen went to the rail.
Baron is considered to be one of the best online tournament players in the world, but he has yet to secure a major victory on the live circuit.
His best performance to date was finishing fourth in the European Poker Tour Grand Final event last year.
