Negreanu "tired" at WPT event

Daniel Negreanu has suggested he was not 100 per cent on his game during day 1b of the World Poker Tour (WPT) Bay 101 Shooting Star championship on Tuesday (March 17th).
Kid Poker, who has won two WPT events in the past and is the biggest money winner in the Tour's history, wrote in his Full Contact Poker blog that he "was getting very tired most of the day" until the end when he had some beer.
Negreanu also claimed to have had lots on in his mind, particularly with regards to his mother, who is seriously ill.
Despite all this, however, he still managed to finish the day among the chip leaders and is in a good position to achieve yet another WPT cash finish over the course of this week.
The Canadian is currently the second biggest money winner in the history of live tournament poker, according to the Hendon Mob.
