Antonius closes the gap in Durrr challenge

Patrik Antonius reduced Tom 'Durrr' Dwan's lead to $53,640 on Monday night in the latest leg of the $1 million challenge.
The competitors played 914 hands of pot-limit Omaha in a three-hour period, with Antonius coming out on top to the tune of $87,611, Poker News reports.
More than 5,000 hands have now been played over the course of eight sessions in the $200-$400 match, which must last for at least 50,000 hands under the rules laid out by Dwan when he made the four-table challenge.
Dwan will receive $500,000 if he wins outright, while Antonius will pick up $1.5 million.
Outside of the challenge match, this week has been an excellent one so far for nosebleed poker on the internet, according to High Stakes DB.
Three-time World Poker Tour titlist Gus Hansen won over $2 million in a three-day period, while Phil Ivey - who will take on Dwan next in the challenge - picked up almost $300,000 in one hand against tsarrast.
