Kamran leads Bay 101 Shooting Star

Michael Kamran finished day two of the World Poker Tour (WPT) Bay 101 Shooting Star championship on Wednesday (March 18th) with the chip lead.
He will take a stack of 570,500 chips through to day three, according to the official WPT website, leaving him 17,000 ahead of Tony Behari in second place.
A total of 36 players survived the day's action, with Kathy Liebert in the best position of the remaining big names in seventh on 385,000 chips.
Paul Wasicka (297,000) is also returning for day three, along with Amnon Filippi (180,000), Hoyt Corkins (124,500), Vivek Rajkumar (124,000) and Joe Sebok (116,500).
Day 1b's chip leader Isaac Baron, Jonathan Little, Jennifer Harman, Daniel Negreanu and Allen Cunningham were among the famous faces to be eliminated.
Kamran is chasing his first major poker title, but has experience of going deep in big events before. In 2008 he finished second in the main event of the Caesars Palace Classic in Las Vegas.
