Bay 101 Shooting Star final table set

2009-03-20 12:26:31

Six players will return tonight to compete in the final table of the World Poker Tour (WPT) Bay 101 Shooting Star championship.

Tony Behari leads the field with 2,046,000 chips, according to official counts on the WPT website, ahead of Steve Brecher (2,016,000) and Chris Moore (1,476,000).

World Series of Poker bracelet holder Kathy Liebert, the only competitor left with a $5,000 bounty on her head out of the 50 who started the event, is fourth with a stack of 1,180,000 chips, followed by Thao Le (711,000) and Chau Vu (352,000).

Michael Kamran was the final table bubble boy and took home $90,000 for his troubles.

A $1,025,500 prize awaits the eventual winner, which would take Liebert up to almost $6 million in career live tournament earnings, according to the Hendon Mob.

She is already the biggest female money winner of all time, with approximately $1.3 million more than her nearest rival, Annie Duke.
