Montgomery taking a break

World Series of Poker 2008 November Niner Scott Montgomery has revealed he is to take a few weeks off from playing cards in order to recover from burnout.
The Canadian wrote in his Card Player blog that he is going to miss out the upcoming World Poker Tour (WPT) event at Foxwoods and not return to the poker circuit until the WPT Championship at the Bellagio on April 18th.
"After two and a half months on the road, I've hit my limit. It's time for a break," he remarked.
Montgomery explained that three of the key signs that he needed to take a timeout were that he was spending a lot of time thinking about previous tournaments, not caring whether he won or not and "taking every hand personally".
The Ontario resident has had numerous cash finishes so far this year, with his latest coming in a preliminary event at the Wynn Classic in Las Vegas.
