Negreanu: I could have played better

Daniel Negreanu has claimed he is not 100 per cent happy with the way he played at the World Poker Tour (WPT) Bay 101 Shooting Star championship this week.
Kid Poker survived until well into day two of the competition, but told readers of his Full Contact Poker blog that it was not a good performance that helped him to last so long.
"I could have played a lot better in this tournament," he remarked. "I made it as far as I did because of sound fundamentals and not because of great reading ability."
Negreanu has one of the best records of any player in WPT history.
The Canadian is one of 11 men to have won two or more titles on the Tour and has the highest career earnings of anyone at $5,555,935.
He is also joint second in the rankings for most cashes and most final table appearances.
