Seidel: Ivey will go down among the greats

Phil Ivey will go down in history as one of the best poker players of all time, according to Erik Seidel.
The eight-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet holder told All In magazine that he believes Ivey is the finest player in the world right now and many of the top competitors would agree.
"I think that people will talk about Phil as one of the greatest," Seidel remarked. "I don't think you will find too many people disputing how well he plays."
His comments were made in an article looking at the similarities and differences between Ivey and the late Stu Ungar, one of the most revered card sharps ever.
Both players have five WSOP bracelets to their name, but Ungar won three WSOP main events during his career, a title Ivey has never managed to secure.
In the analysis section of Barry Greenstein's website, Ivey is awarded marks of eight out of ten for his standard of play against weak and strong opposition, while Ungar is given eight against weak and six against strong.
