Brecher "can accept" lucky hand

Last week's World Poker Tour Bay 101 Shooting Star winner Steve Brecher has stated he has no problem with a major factor in his victory being a lucky hand against heads-up opponent Kathy Liebert.
The veteran told Card Player magazine that it was the only time in the entire tournament when he had gotten all of his money into the pot while behind but won anyway due to fortunate cards falling on the board.
In this particular instance, his ace-queen was dominated by Liebert's ace-king until he made a straight using the community cards.
Brecher referred to it as "the crucial hand at the final table".
"It's nothing to be proud of about sucking out, but that's the way it happened and I can accept the result," he remarked.
The hand helped Brecher to the first major victory of his career and more than $1 million in prize money. His previous best result was in 2005 when he finished third in the United States Poker Championship for $218,250.
