Brunson lists games for Antonius match

Doyle Brunson has unveiled in his blog the list of games that he will choose to play should his heads-up challenge match with Patrik Antonius come to fruition.

Seven poker variants were listed in all - lowball, five-card draw, hi-low split, seven-card no qualify, stud, badugi, Omaha eight or better and hold'em - several of which had numerous alternative versions listed beneath them.

The lowball game, for example, could be anything from limit or no-limit five-card draw to limit or no-limit seven-card razz, shuck one and draw if you want.

Meanwhile, the Omaha eight or better variation could be limit or pot-limit Omaha ten or better, two-to-seven low or poppyha, a game with four hole cards and four community cards.

Brunson dismissed claims he was being unfair by choosing obscure types of poker to play and claimed he is not seeking to prove anything, just come away with the money.

"I believe I can win with this list of games to choose from. I'm not trying to win any accolades, praise or titles," he remarked.

Antonius, who is currently taking on Tom Dwan in another heads-up challenge, has yet to publicly give his thoughts on the list.
