Moorman1 goes top of OPOY rankings

Chris 'Moorman1' Moorman has moved into first place in Card Player's online player of the year (OPOY) race after picking up points on Saturday.
The British card sharp received 160 points for finishing third in a re-buys tournament, lifting him to the top of the table on 3,362 points, 38 more than nearest rival Steve 'gboro780' Gross.
Adam 'Roothlus' Levy remains third in the rankings with a score of 2,928, just four more than Mohsin 'chicagocards1' Charania in fourth place.
Gross and Moorman are two of the most feared online tournament players in the world. Last year, the former was second in Card Player's OPOY competition, while the latter was runner-up in the equivalent table run by Bluff Magazine.
Other renowned card sharps performing well in Card Player's rankings this year include Shaun 'shaundeeb' Deeb (7th) and Joe 'ender555' Ebanks (11th).
Reigning champion Alex 'AJKHoosier1' Kamberis is currently in 608th position.
