Dwan increases advantage over Antonius

2009-03-25 12:06:10

Tom 'Durrr' Dwan increased his lead over Patrik Antonius in his $1 million poker challenge yesterday (March 24th).

In a session that lasted just short of two hours and 705 hands, Dwan extended his advantage by $51,924.50 to $67,163.

He was ahead by more than $100,000 on one of the four tables the two were competing at, but this win was more than covered by Antonius being $103,000 up on an adjacent table.

Dwan was down a further $8,000 on table one, but made his money on table four, where he came away up by over $62,000.

The two have now been playing for a total of nearly 21 hours and more than 6,600 hands and neither has managed to build a significant advantage, although the lead has changed hands several times.

In other news linked to the Durrr challenge, speculation is rife this week that famous internet card sharp FullFlush may take on Dwan after he has played Antonius and future opponents Phil Ivey and David Benyamine.
