New inductees announced for Women in Poker Hall of Fame

A total of three inductees are set to enter into the Women in Poker Hall of Fame later this year.
Full Tilt Poker-sponsored pro Cyndy Violette will be welcomed into the fold on June 5th, along with CardPlayer magazine founder June Field and Tournament Directors' Association co-founder Jan Fisher.
Current hall of famer Linda Johnson, a guest columnist for Poker News Daily, told the publication that each of the trio are "very worthy" of the honour.
She said: "June Field inspired me as a publisher, Cyndy Violette inspired me as a player and Jan Fisher inspired me as an industry leader."
The Women in Poker Hall of Fame was founded by the Ladies International Poker Series and hosted its inaugural induction ceremony last year.
Sponsored by CardPlayer magazine, it was set up to acknowledge the contributions of women to the world of poker and celebrate those who have become prominent players.
