Deeb extends OPOY lead

Shaun 'shaundeeb' Deeb extended his lead in Card Player's online player of the year (OPOY) competition on Wednesday with victory in a $150,000 guarantee event.
Deeb picked up 480 points for the win, taking his overall total for 2009 to 4,586.
This leaves him 790 points ahead of Steve 'gboro780' Gross in second and 864 points in front of Chris 'Moorman1' Moorman in third.
Deeb has already scored more than half the points he won in 2008, when he finished fifth in the competition.
Indeed, his total is so good after just three months that last year it would have earned him a top 50 finish.
Unknown card sharp frtk is currently in fourth position on 3,556 points, followed by Mohsin 'chicagocards1' Charania (3,124), Adam 'Roothlus' Levy (2,928), Adam 'csimmsux' Geyer (2,906) and Aditya 'Intervention' Agarwal (2,864).
Nick 'FU_15' Maimone (2,756) and Jonathan 'xxjondxx' Delong (2,724) round out the top ten.
