Hawkins expected Maven to be biggest rival

Brian 'SNo0oWMAN' Hawkins has claimed he thought Dovid 'The Maven' Melech would be his closest rival in the Bluff Poker Challenge.
In an interview with Bluff Magazine, Hawkins - who eventually won the online sit n' go (SNG) and MTT competition - stated that he was expecting Melech to grind for 15 hours each day and "just run away with it".
However, after seeing that he was up by only $20 after playing about 150 SNGs and then observing him register for a $1 event, he realised he was not going to be a threat.
"Once I saw that I could tell he wasn't gonna get anywhere too fast. I think he took too much of a conservative approach," he remarked.
Hawkins finished with more than $25,000 in winnings after playing 698 events, with Garrett 'Gbecks' Beckman his closest rival on $4,811.
Merech is not mentioned on the top 20 leaderboard.
