Markholt leads WPT Foxwoods

Lee Markholt is the chip leader after day three of the World Poker Tour (WPT) Foxwoods Poker Classic.
According to the official WPT website, the 45-year-old professional - who is chasing his second WPT title - finished the day with 1,118,500 chips, giving him a lead of 290,000 over second-placed Amon Filippi.
Vadim Trincher is third on 730,500, followed by Anthony Gargano (629,500), Barry Greenstein (595,000) and Joe Raposa (511,500).
David Williams (258,500) and Allen Kessler (184,500) are the two other notable competitors left in the field of 17, which will be whittled down to a final table tonight.
The winner stands to receive $731,079 in prize money, a sum that would elevate Greenstein up into 12th place in the WPT career earnings list.
With a total of $2,371,099, the double WPT titlist and five-time final tablist is currently the 23rd biggest money winner in the history of the Tour.
