Deeb extends OPOY lead

Shaun Deeb extended his lead at the top of Card Player's online player of the year (OPOY) rankings over the weekend with two scores.
On Friday, the man known as tedsfishfry picked up 240 points for victory in a re-buys event, following it up with a 24 points score for finishing 17th in a tournament on Sunday.
This took his overall total for 2009 to 4,850 points, giving him an advantage of 314 over second-placed Steve 'gboro780' Gross.
These two remain the only competitors to have broken through the 4,000-point barrier so far this year, with frtk just a short way off in third position on 3,956 points.
Also earning good points on Sunday was Thayer 'THAY3R' Rasmussen, who generated 840 between two competitions to move up into fourth place on 3,900 points.
Chris 'Moorman1' Moorman rounds out the top five with a total of 3,870. He currently occupies the same position in Bluff Magazine's OPOY race.
